Asthma:

Significant improvement was found in 7 of 9 asthma patients over a three month period using a multimodality MVHC treatment program (see “Other chronic disorders” below) Nederlands Tijdschrift voor Integrale Geneeskunde 1989; 5(35): 58-94.
A 6 month single blind controlled study of 21 asthmatics with crossover at 3 month showed that TM improved symptom severity and duration and improved measures of pulmonary function (including airways resistance which continued for the duration of the study, while FEV1 and PEFR improved initially and then returned to control levels by 3 months).
